Holy crap I'm back!!! Ok for some reason DA kicked me off for about forever and a half, but obviously I'm back lol! GOL DARNIT PEOPLE! 272 deviations, 142 messages, and 2 notes?! man I must of missed a lot

How's everything in the marching band holding up? So far we're doing fairly well. Just the usually new people with bad body-facing and 2 or 3 people that doesn't march but walk. (Really gets on my nerves.) Our first competition is tomorrow! I really hope we do well! Let me know how everything's going for you all! Good luck!

Thanks! Yea, the new people that don't do it right get on my nerves too. Its going well here, we just learned the dance for our halftime show (its pretty cool) but theres also the lazy whiners that I gotta deal with (Some of them are SENIORS! Geez! They should know by now!) Our first away game is tomarrow though =] Gotta love them bus rides! Good luck to you guys! Tell me how your competition went!

I agree! We had our first competition last Saturday! We got 2nd place in class 5A. We almost got 1st, but by .9 points!!! So mad!!! Our band plays more "innovative" stuff, our more modern and unique music than most traditional bands that play classical music. All except two judges gave us first place out of other bands, on a visual judge and on a music judge that's more into classical music. I really hate it when it's seniors complaining. Really set's a bad example for the new people. I'm hoping to get a DVD sometime of our show soon. I'd really like to put it on you-tube. So much more interesting than last years. Our next competition's next week at Murray State University. We have to buy sleeping bags so we can sleep at the school. I'd rather book a hotel, instead!! Good luck on your game!!!
P.S. --Our bus was crazy!!! We have to sit with girls in the back and boys in the front at night. Every once in a while we do what's called "Hand Checks". It's exactly what you think it is. We all started laughing and crap!
